I have lost 4 stones and have about another 4 1/2 to lose. My weight loss has stopped and need inspiration on exercise and food so I think your book will help me immensley. I bought the Weight Watchers one ‘Move More’ and you totally inspire me. Sometimes when I’m flagging I put your DVD on and your energetic and fresh approach always gets me moving. If you had asked me 5 years ago if posture was heredetary, I would have said yes .At that time I was developing the rounded upper back ( Dowager’s Hump ) that my mother had . For most of her life she had a stiff back and suffered frequent pain . Then I saw Caroline on the cover of a magazine looking graceful and beautiful and inside was an article on Pilates . I had heard only good things about Pilates from friendsand my physio had recommended it for my back , neck and shoulder problems.

Today I am a different person . I have a flat , well shaped back , my neck is long and graceful and my shoulders are even .I literally have no more pain or stiffness – ever ! My weekly sessions with Caroline have had other benefits – I now have a really flat stomach ,a slender waist and a high, well formed bottom . We also do lots of leg and arm shaping and toning exercises However , let me tell you the best thing of all – we only do one set of each exercise and dont use heavy weights so I never get bored or exhausted ! The hour simply flies by and ends with me feeling taller and trimmer – every single time ! We also have a good laugh and a lovely chat – all between moves ! Well done , Caroline, you always get it right !

Caroline has been training me regularly for nearly three years now. I started doing Pilates with her on the advice of a physiotherapist after back problems during my third pregnancy, and was amazed by the results. Not only do my one-to-one classes with her help me feel fitter, improve my posture and strengthen my core, but they have helped with muscle tone and relaxation too. She is amazingly knowledgeable and interested in the holistic aspect of health and fitness; she has given me lots of advice over my time with her and has been able to tailor-make my exercise programme to ensure that during my subsequent pregnancy I was in great condition throughout and had a very easy labour. As a working mother of four children I value my sessions with her enormously as I genuinely feel they increase my ability to cope with the physical demands of a very busy life and give me an opportunity to spend time with someone I now consider a real friend.
